Why do schools have microwave foods for the kids to eat? corn dogs & pizza is not too healthy..?
Everyone talks about child obesity & Americans being Fat…….why don’t they have cooks to prepare healthy food in elementry schools like they use to instead of feeding them corn dogs & pizza everyday? I refuse to let my grandkids eat that mess! We as parents & grandparents should protest & try to change this ……answers are appreciated!!!
probably because public schools are federally funded and the bulk of the funds don’t go to lunch programs. I mean hell, most schools, you have to pay for your own lunch. There are politicians who are pushing for more control over lunches, but I doubt there will be enough support. It will probably have to be handled on the State level with individual school boards.
