I am starting to work on my final paper for this semester. I am assigned to write a cause and effect essay, and I would like to write about obesity. My teacher mentioned that we would all be reading our rough drafts aloud to the class, (it’s a small class at a Community College) and openly discussing the topics, etc…

So, here’s my question: There are a couple of obese people in my class, and I’m wondering if it would be unethical and offensive to these people? Of course, the essay will be factual, I will do my research and I will be as tactful and diplomatic as possible…. Let me know what your opinion is about this!
