Hello, can you help me with the introduction of a research paper?
I am doing the research paper on obesity in America and the several factors that contribute to obesity such as; temptation or proximity to fast-food restaurants, low-income, shortage of time lack of education and perhaps even genetics depending on the amount of information i have. Another question can my research paper be cause and effect because I could use some effects of obesity such as low self-esteem, health problems and so on. if yes what else could i use?

In the past decade or so, the health effects of obesity have been creeping further into America’s psyche. Obesity, now known as an epidemic of virulent proportions affects [add number here] of Americans and their seems to be several factors in contributing to the disease. Mainly it is income that drives people to not watch their weight and with the overabundance of cheap fast-food chains, coupled with low education, the spreading of such a disease can not be avoided. Furthermore, the adverse effects, while harming health, also contribute to low self-esteem which simply propagates the cycle over and over again.
