		<description>Yes, Accutane can cause your cholesterol to go up. After my first month on Accutane, my cholesterol went up 60+ points. I ended up having to go low (practically none at all) cholesterol, low fat for the remaining four months of treatment. (Cholesterol is one of the indicators they test with your monthly Accutane blood test...)

Although it was a significant jump, a 188 is still manageable enough. I believe a 240 is considered high risk. I would recommend talking to your doctor, make sure you mention the Accutane, and see what you can do to get back where you belong.
