& I always hear & see people say that they don’t have to diet. But If there is a 12 year old girl who is overweight, shouldn’t she be on a diet rather then getting diabetes & other health problems at a young age? What’s with all the excuses?

Why does america have such a high obesity rate when other places like europe doesnt?

I was reading an article today on how obesity has almost caught up with smoking as the number cause of cancer. What is the obesity/cancer link?

Im researching this topic for a critical thinking class and would like to read some different points of view. Some things to think about are "is it ok to be obese if you are comfortable with yourself" and " How does WIC and Food Stamps play into obesity". One medical lecturer said corn syrup is bad because it has fructose in it. How can that be if ordinary sucrose is half fructose?
