Inflammation and Obesity

Posted by beeman | Causes Of Obesity | Thursday 24 June 2010 2:12 am

Inflammation causes obesity is certainly a going theme in medical research. Specifically, it looks as if inflammation causes leptin resistance through the increase of Suppression of Cytokine Signaling (SOCS3) molecules as well as increasing cortisol secretion. Much of this begins with consuming too much omega 6 fat in proportion to omega 3, which in turn causes overproduction of interleukin-6 and a massive overinflammatory cytokine cascade.

The Role of the Food Chain Gap in Obesity

Posted by beeman | Causes Of Obesity | Friday 18 June 2010 2:10 am

Dr. George Scheele, the “Good Doctor,” describes how deficiencies in amino acids in the food chain give rise to overweight disorders and obesity and how Factor4 Weight Control® helps normalize body weight by combating the dietary causes of obesity. There 3 dietary causes of obesity; excess calories in a sedentary society, excess refined sugars and carbohydrates and a NEW defined cause – Protein Deficiency Syndrome. Obesity is only part of the problem. It is only part of the spectrum of metabolic diseases that are associated with the “Metabolic Syndrome.” The “Metabolic Syndrome” is harmful giving rise to chronic degenerative diseases that are associated with accelerated aging. Obesity is the most obvious sign of “Metabolic Syndrome.” Humans are naturally deficient in amino acids. There are 20 amino acids required to build proteins and humans only produce 11 of these. The other 9 must be obtained from the food chain. In fact, only bacteria and plants produce all 20 amino acids. When we eat refined sugars and carbohydrates amino acids become deficient in moving up the food chain. Amino acids become deficient in moving up the food chain (“food chain gap”). This gap in amino acids is harmful to the rebuilding process in the body. For more details on protein deficiency syndrome, watch the video to see a visual representation of protein analysis on 2D gels. Power Amino Acids in Factor4 Weight Loss Shakes close the food chain gap, correct the deficiencies in amino acids

Childhood Obesity Solutions

Posted by beeman | Causes Of Obesity | Wednesday 16 June 2010 7:01 am

I really got up on the wrong side of bed this morning. I was still mad about yesterdays report that childhood obesity for males 6-18 was still on the rise. Mad because we keep talking about it but do nothing. The causes of childhood obesity are clear to me. We cut afterschool sports programs so our kids play video games instead of soccer, neither parents nor the schools teach kids proper nutrition, and what physical education programs we do have are lousy. Investing a small amount of money in our kids would have HUGE dividends in a few decades. PLEASE, lets provide a way for our kids to PLAY sports rather than watch them. Lets teach them proper nutrition, if the parents cant do it then the schools will need to and this costs money but its an investment with huge dividends. And lets take advantage of the physical education classes we do have to teach kids the joy of fitness and sports! Childhood obesity CAN be beat but it will take the co-operation of parents, schools, cities and taxpayers. Lets give our kids a chance to be healthy! Want to see some amazing success stories of kids who have beaten obesity on their own? It can be done but its really hard without support! www.scoobysworkshop.com
