Can type 2 diabetes lead to obesity?
I am aware that obesity can lead to type 2 diabetes. But, is it possible for a person to become obese because they have type 2 diabetes?

Any diabetic can become obese if they don’t watch their diet. In fact, it is harder for most diabetics to lose weight. I do know a man who had type 2 that could not keep his weight up no matter what – it was because of the diabetes. So, it can lead to obesity, but not necessarily.
